Matts delsol was in for map today as he was not happy with his map after a well known tuner had twice tuned the car. So we started off the day with a health check, which included a smoke test and power run to see what power it was running. The car was claimed to be 299 bhp it ran 247 bhp with a massive flat spot it had boost leaks and bolts missing and all sorts . There was no way the car should have been mapped in that condiction let alone twice . So we have replaced the boost system and sorted out all the issues . We ran the car again on the dyno taking it from 247 bhp to 261 bhp just by sorting out the issues but still a massive flat slot .
We put our base map on the car and ran it we made 275 bhp with midrange gains of 55 bhp and no flat spot. We will finish mapping tomorrow, the customer should be well happy with the results.
