Last weekend, round 4 of the D1 Grand Prix drifting competition was held in Maishima, Osaka. With temperatures around 35 degrees Celsius and a scorching road surface, it was a blistering hot round.
Naoto Suenaga, supported by TEIN since this season, made it to 3rd place in the Tanso Qualifications, finishing in 2nd place in the Final Tournament. It looks like his spec change decisions were generally spot on. In the Tsuiso (1-to-1 battles) he got through to the Best 8.
The next round will be at Suenaga’s home ground Ebisu Circuit, August 19-20.
